Tina's Build-Your-Own Quesadillas
I was inspired to create a restaurant concept based off a scene in "Napoleon Dynamite" when his grandma says "Make yourself a dang quesadilla!" I thought it would be fun to riff off of that with a build-your-own quesadilla restaurant with that quote as the slogan. I took additional inspiration from Mexican tiles (the little bursts are a play on the flower/plant patterns found in tile, but also a cut up quesadilla) and the beloved llama in Napoleon Dynamite, Tina. This was also very handy as I had a pregnancy craving for quesadillas so it was a great excuse to make some and take some product pics.
Mr. Collins' Boiled Potatoes
This fake business concept was inspired by a oft-quoted line from the 2005 "Pride and Prejudice" movie where Mr. Collins very awkwardly compliments the Bennett family at dinner. I wanted to make the branding feel grounded in the time period of the story.
